Sep-13-2024

Copper futures finished higher on Thursday as the dollar declined on expectations of potential interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve for the first time in four years. Though, weak demand outlook in top metal consumer China limited further gains in copper prices

Copper futures for December delivery gained $0.0535 to settle at $4.1955 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 1.38 percent at $ 9,215.50 a ton.
