Franklin Templeton MF introduces India Long Duration Fund

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has launched Franklin India Long Duration Fund, an open ended debt scheme investing in instruments such that the Macaulay Duration of the portfolio is greater than 7 years with Relatively High interest rate risk and relatively Low credit risk. The NFO opened for subscription on November 20, 2024 and closes on December 04, 2024. The Entry load is not applicable and Exit Load is nil for the scheme. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000/- and in multiples of Re. 1/- thereafter.

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked at CRISIL Long Duration Debt A-III Index and its fund managers are Chandni Gupta and Anuj Tagra.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate returns by investing in debt and money market instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the scheme portfolio is greater than 7 years.
