Copper futures trade higher on Monday
Dec-23-2024
Copper futures were trading higher on Monday after US inflation data showed only a modest rise last month, eased some concerns about the pace of US interest rate cuts next year. Copper prices improved further after the United States avoided a potential government shutdown over the weekend ahead of the busy holiday season. But firm dollar limited further gains in copper prices.

Copper futures for March delivery gained $0.0240 or 0.59% at $4.1245 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
