Union MF introduces Short Duration Fund

Union Mutual Fund has launched Union Short Duration Fund, an open-ended short-term debt scheme investing in instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 1 Year to 3 Years.  The NFO opens for subscription on January 15, 2025 and closes on January 28, 2025. The Entry Load is not applicable for the scheme. The Exit load will be - 1% if units are redeemed or switched out on or before completion of 15 days from the date of allotment and Nil - if redeemed or switched out after completion of 15 days from the date of allotment of units.  The minimum subscription amount is Rs 1,000 and in multiples of Rs. 1 thereafter.

The performance of the Scheme will be benchmarked with CRISIL Short Duration Debt A-II Index and its fund managers are Anindya Sarkar and Shrenuj Parekh.

The investment objective of the scheme is to provide reasonable returns and liquidity by investing in a range of debt and money market instruments while maintaining the balance of safety, liquidity and returns.
