HDFC AMC announces Change in Name and Benchmark Index of select Schemes

HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) has announced addendum to the Scheme Information Documents (SIDs) / Key Information Memorandums (KIMs) of select Schemes and Statement of Additional Information (SAI) of HDFC Mutual Fund.

HDFC Mutual Fund has informed that, as per SEBI’s Letter to AMFI dated February 06, 2025 on ‘Framework for launching of Fund of Fund (FOF) Schemes with multiple underlying funds’ all AMCs are advised to align/ re-categorize their existing FOFs, including aligning the names and benchmark index of such schemes. 

Accordingly, effective from May 02, 2025, the Scheme Name of ‘HDFC Developed World Indexes Fund of Funds’ is revised to ‘HDFC Developed World Equity Passive FOF’ with ‘MSCI World Index (Net Total Returns Index) as benchmark. The Scheme Name of ‘HDFC Asset Allocator Fund of Funds’ is revised to ‘HDFC Multi-Asset Active FOF’ & its benchmark ‘90% NIFTY 50 Hybrid Composite Debt 65:35 Index (Total Returns Index) and 10% Domestic Prices of Gold derived as per regulatory norms’ is revised to ‘50% NIFTY 50 TRI + 40% NIFTY Composite Debt Index + 10% Gold derived as per regulatory norms’. 

All other terms and conditions of the aforesaid schemes remain unchanged. This addendum shall form an integral part of the SIDs / KIMs of the aforesaid schemes and SAI of the Fund as amended from time to time.
