Guar Seed futures trade lower as production rises
Sep-15-2025
Guar Seed futures traded lower on NCDEX, due to narrowing of bets tracking higher-than-expected guar seed production countered by adequate inventory levels and increased supply. Additionally, dip in demand from guar gum manufacturers, possibly due to lower export orders or subdued industrial activity also weighed down rates.

The contract for September delivery was trading at Rs 5,188.00 down by Rs 19.00 or 0.36% from previous closing of Rs 5,207.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 35,000 lots.

The contract for October delivery was trading at Rs 5,106.00 down by Rs 9.00 or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs 5,115.00. The open interest of the contract stood 48,980 lots on NCDEX.
