ICICI Pru AMC introduces Choti SIP under various schemes

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) has addendum to the Scheme Information Documents (SIDs) and Key Information Memorandums (KIMs) of various Schemes (the Schemes).

Pursuant to SEBI circular dated February 20, 2025 with respect to Systematic Investment Plan – ‘Choti SIP’, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has informed that ICICI Prudential Trust (the Trustee) have approved the introduction of Choti SIP Feature in ICICI Prudential Large Cap Fund (Erstwhile ICICI Prudential Bluechip Fund), ICICI Prudential Dividend Yield Equity Fund, ICICI Prudential Flexicap Fund, ICICI Prudential Focused Equity Fund, ICICI Prudential Large & Mid Cap Fund, ICICI Prudential Multicap Fund, ICICI Prudential Value Fund (Erstwhile ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund), ICICI Prudential Multi-Asset Fund, ICICI Prudential Equity & Debt Fund, ICICI Prudential Equity Savings Fund, ICICI Prudential Regular Savings Fund, ICICI Prudential Balanced Advantage Fund (all under Equity), ICICI Prudential Multi-Asset Fund, ICICI Prudential Equity & Debt Fund, ICICI Prudential Equity Savings Fund, ICICI Prudential Regular Savings Fund, ICICI Prudential Balanced Advantage Fund (all under Hybrid) and ICICI Prudential Children’s Fund (Erstwhile ICICI Prudential Child Care Fund (Gift Plan)), ICICI Prudential Retirement Fund - Pure Equity Plan, ICICI Prudential Retirement Fund - Aggressive Hybrid Plan, ICICI Prudential Retirement Fund - Conservative Hybrid Plan (all under Solution Oriented) (the various schemes) offered by ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund effect from September 23, 2025.
Key Features of Choti SIP: -

 • The feature is available only to First time individual investors (excluding minors) to the Mutual Fund industry.

• SIP registration amount should be Rs.250/- only. It cannot be more or less than Rs.250/- or else the SIP registration would not be classified as ‘Choti-SIP’. 

• The feature can be offered only under Growth option.

• The feature can be offered in any schemes except for Debt schemes, Sectoral & Thematic Schemes, Small-cap and Mid-cap Schemes under Equity Schemes category. 

• The mode of payment/investment for small ticket SIP shall be restricted to National Automated Clearing House (NACH) or Unified Payment Interface (UPI) auto pay.

• PAN exempted KYC registration number (PEKRN) investor would be allowed to invest under this feature subject to regulatory limit of Rs. 50,000/- per investor, per financial year.

• The feature would only have Monthly installments frequency.

• The commitment by investor under the feature is minimum 60 installments. There shall be no restrictions on SIP withdrawal or discontinuing SIP. The provisions relating to exit load, if any would remain same for all the investors. 

• All statutory disclosures to unitholders of Choti SIPs shall be through a registered mobile number and email id (if provided by the investor).

• Any investor having investments in the schemes of any Mutual Funds or initiates any SIP investment other than Choti SIP or makes a lumpsum investment across any Mutual Funds, shall be considered ineligible under Choti SIP at an industry level, for any of its subsequent investment.

All the other provisions of the SIDs and KIMs of the Schemes except as specifically modified herein above, remain unchanged. This Notice-cum-Addendum forms an integral part of the SIDs and KIMs of the Scheme, as amended from time to time.
