Crude oil futures end higher on Monday
Nov-11-2025

Crude oil futures ended higher on Monday as optimism about U.S. government shutdown coming to an end eased tensions about the national economy and consumption. U.S. Senate negotiators struck a deal to advance a short-term funding bill with the support of eight Democrats. The bill is expected to secure the support of House of Representatives, followed by president's signature to kickstart the funding. The opening of U.S. government would increase domestic demand for goods and services including energy, bolstering crude demand.

Benchmark crude oil futures for December rose $0.38 or 0.64% at $60.13 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery gained $0.43 or 0.68% to settle at $64.06 a barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
