Gold futures trade lower in early deals on Monday

Gold futures traded lower in early deals on Monday, amidst stronger dollar, trimmed geo political tensions and on cautiousness ahead to Federal Reserve’s final policy meeting of the year. The yellow metal for the most active contract marked 0.27% loss for the week.

Gold futures for February delivery traded lower by $10.60 or 0.25% to $4,232.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. However, spot gold up by $10.01 or 0.24% to $4,207.79 an ounce.
