MOIL’s manganese ore production grows 3.7% in Q3FY26

MOIL has recorded its best-ever production figures for both the third quarter and the first nine months in FY 2025-26. During Q3 of FY 2025-26, the company has recorded manganese ore production of 4.77 lakh tonnes, registering a growth of about 3.7% over the corresponding period last year. During first nine months of FY 2025-26, it has recorded manganese ore production of 14.21 lakh tonnes, an increase of around 6.8% over the corresponding period last year.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
