Crude oil futures end lower amid US-Iran tensions
Feb-11-2026

Crude oil futures ended lower on Tuesday after posting gains over the previous two trading sessions despite a U.S. advisory warning of potential supply disruptions in key shipping routes. U.S-Iran tensions were also in focus, with Iran warning of ‘destructive’ influence on diplomacy ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington this week for talks expected to focus on US negotiations with Tehran.

Benchmark crude oil futures for March delivery fell $0.40 or 0.62% to settle at $63.96 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery decreased $0.24 or 0.35% to settle at $68.80 a barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
