Crude oil futures end higher on Monday
Mar-10-2026

After skyrocketing above $100 a barrel for the first time since 2022, Crude oil futures have given back some ground during the day but ended higher on Monday as the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war with Iran has brought global energy supply to a grinding halt. The combined attack initiated after U.S. President Donald Trump accused Iran of developing dangerous nuclear weapons entered day number 10 on March 09.

Benchmark crude oil futures for April delivery rose $3.87 or 4.26% to settle at $94.77 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for May delivery added $6.27 or 6.76% to settle at $98.96 a barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
