Dhaniya futures drop on rising arrivals

Dhaniya futures dropped on NCDEX, on account of rising fresh crop arrivals, and it is expected to strengthen further from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in the coming days. However, fresh buying support along with expectations of lower production this season limited further losses. 

The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 12922.00, down by 0.05% or Rs 6.00 from its previous closing of Rs 12,928.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 6,450 lots.

The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 13090.00, down by 0.26% or Rs 34.00 from its previous closing of Rs 13,124.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 21,285 lots on NCDEX.
