Franklin Templeton AMC announces change in risk-o-meter and benchmark risk-o-meter

Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) (AMC) has announced addendum to the Scheme Information Document and Key Information Memorandum of schemes of Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund.

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has informed that Risk-o-meter for schemes of the Mutual Fund was calculated in accordance with Para 17.4.1 of SEBI Master Circular on Mutual Funds dated June 27, 2024, based on portfolio as on March 31, 2026. Changes to the Risk-o-meter as on March 31, 2026 vis-à-vis Risk-o-meter as on February 27, 2026, are as follows:

The Risk-o-meter of Franklin India Low Duration Fund, Franklin India Equity Savings Fund & Franklin India Income Plus Arbitrage Active Fund of Funds has been revised from existing ‘Moderate’ to ‘Low to Moderate’ and the Risk-o-meter of Franklin India Arbitrage Fund has been revised from existing ‘Low to Moderate’ to ‘Low’.

Further, pursuant to Para 5.16 of SEBI Master circular on Mutual Funds dated June 27, 2024, Risk-o-meter for benchmark - NIFTY Short Duration Debt Index A-II of the Franklin India Floating Rate Fund (the scheme) of the Fund have been revised from ‘Low to Moderate’ to ‘Moderate’.

All other terms and conditions of the Scheme Information Document and Key Information Memorandum of the respective schemes, read with the addenda issued from time to time, will remain unchanged. 

This addendum forms an integral part of the Scheme Information Document and Key Information Memorandum issued for respective schemes, read with the addenda.
