Gold futures traded higher in early deals of Monday, driven by increased safe-haven demand after US-Iran attacks pushed oil prices higher, intensifying inflation fears and interest rate hike expectations. Softer dollar also buoyed investment appeal of the bullion. The yellow metal for the most active contract had registered about 2.6% loss for the week

Gold futures for August delivery up by $8.00 to 0.20% to $4,026.80 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $6.65 or 0.17% to $ 4,024.04 an ounce.
