Gold futures traded higher in early deals of Monday, buoyed by the softer dollar and on declining bond yield notes. The yellow metal also gained support followed by sliding crude oil prices after the US President Donald Trump delayed planned military strikes on Iran. However, some gains remained trimmed in midst of bets over tighter monetary policy and potential Federal Reserve rate adjustments.

Gold futures for December delivery up by $17.40 to 0.42% to $4,124.40 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $22.17 or 0.55% to $4,068.32 an ounce.
