Gold futures traded lower in early deals on Monday, as the strength in dollar and an unexpected contraction in the US labor market dulled safe haven appeal of the bullion. The yellow metal for the most active contract had marked gain of about 1% last week.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $6.00 to 0.14% to $4,393.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold up by $10.63 or 0.24% to $4,330.93 an ounce.
