Aug-10-2026
Copper futures are trading higher on Monday despite eased concerns over potential supply disruptions from the Democratic Republic of Congo’s copper concentrate export ban, with Goldman Sachs stated it expects the measure to have no significant impact on global copper balances. Meanwhile, investors remained cautious over possible US import tariffs on copper, which continue to redirect metal from international markets into US warehouses.

Copper futures for September delivery rose $0.0145 or 0.22% at $6.6055 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
