Gold futures traded higher in early deals of Tuesday, kindled by the softer dollar and declining bond yield notes. Additionally, safe-haven support from heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East also buoyed the yellow metal’s rebound. The US stock market was closed yesterday for Labor Day.

Gold futures for December delivery up by $8.30 or 0.19% to $4,484.90 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $27.44 or 0.62% to $4,431.74 an ounce.
