Gold futures finish higher as dollar dips

Gold futures finished higher on Wednesday, whetted by the softness in dollar and on inflation concerns. Additionally, the escalating Middle East geopolitical tensions following military strikes involving the US and Iran also contributed rise in yellow metal investments.

Gold futures for December delivery up by $37.60 or 0.84% to settle at $4,460.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $20.94 or 0.48% to $4,376.93 an ounce.
