Copper futures trade lower in early deals on Monday
Oct-26-2026
Copper futures were trading lower in early deals on Monday as global selloff in artificial intelligence and semiconductor stocks weighed on risk appetite, alongside cautious trading ahead of Wednesday's FOMC meeting. Moreover, a buildup in LME warehouse stockpiles also kept copper sentiment subdued.

Copper futures for December delivery lost $0.0215 or 0.33% at $6.4860 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
