Shriram MF introduces Balanced Advantage Fund

Shriram Mutual Fund (MF) has launched the Shriram Balanced Advantage Fund, an open ended dynamic asset allocation fund scheme. The NFO opens for subscription on June 14, 2019 and closes on June 28, 2019. Entry load is nil and Exit load will be nil if redeemed/switched-out within 365 days from the date of allotment up to 12% of units held by the investor; Exit load will be 1% of applicable Net Asset Value (NAV) if redeemed/switched-out within 365 days from the date of allotment more than 12% of units held by the investor; and Exit load will be nil if redeemed/switched out after 365 days from the date of allotment. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs 500 thereafter per application during the NFO period & on an ongoing basis.

The scheme’s performance will be benchmarked against CRISIL Hybrid 35+65 - Aggressive Index and its fund manager is Kartik Soral.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation with relatively lower volatility over a longer tenure of time. The Scheme will accordingly invest in equities, arbitrage opportunities, derivative strategies and debt and money market instruments.
