Baroda Mutual Fund files offer document for Small Cap Fund

Baroda Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch an open ended equity scheme named ‘Baroda Small Cap Fund‘. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit. Entry load will be nil and Exit load If Units are redeemed upto 10% of the Units, on or before 365 days from the date of allotment of Units will be Nil; If Units are redeemed over and above the 10% limit, on or before 365 days from the date of allotment of Units will be 1% of the applicable Net Asset Value (NAV); If Units are redeemed after 365 days from the date of allotment of Units will be Nil. The scheme offers growth and dividend options and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against NSE Small Cap 100 TRI. The minimum application amount for initial purchase is Rs 5000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate consistent long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities of Small Cap Companies.
