HDFC MF introduces Dividend Yield Fund

HDFC Mutual Fund (MF) has launched the HDFC Dividend Yield Fund (HDYF), an open-ended equity scheme predominantly investing in dividend yielding stocks. The NFO opens for subscription on November 27, 2020, and closes on December 11, 2020. The Entry load will be not applicable for the scheme. The Exit load will be 1%, if units are redeemed/switched-out within 1 year from the date of allotment and no exit Load is payable if units are redeemed/switched-out after 1 year from the date of allotment. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000 and any amount thereafter.

The performance of the Scheme will be benchmarked against to the NIFTY Dividend Opportunities 50 TRI (Total Returns Index) and its fund managers are Gopal Agarwal and Anand Laddha.

The investment objective of the scheme seeks to provide capital appreciation and/or dividend distribution by predominantly investing in a well-diversified portfolio of equity and equity related instruments of dividend yielding companies.
