Apr-16-2024

Crude oil futures ended lower on Monday on strong U.S. dollar. Oil prices fell amid slightly easing concerns about supply disruptions after Iran's drone and missile attack on Israel did not cause any big damage. According to private report, Israel has reviewed military plans for a potential response against Iran. The war cabinet reportedly remains determined to act, but it is not clear if a decision has been made.

Benchmark crude oil futures for May delivery fell $0.25 or 0.29% to settle at $85.41 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for June delivery declined $0.35 or 0.38% to $90.01 per barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
