Copper futures settle higher on Monday
May-07-2024
Copper futures settled higher on Monday as focus remained on just when the US Federal Reserve will begin cutting interest rates. Moreover, supply disruptions in major producing regions also supported red metal prices. But steady dollar made copper more expensive to holders of other currencies.

Copper futures for July delivery gained $0.0580 to settle at $4.6150 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
