Copper futures settle lower on Wednesday
Oct-29-2020

Copper futures settled lower on Wednesday on demand concerns tracking sell-off in US equities overnight due to surging corona virus infections and ahead of US presidential election. Further, strong dollar against its major peers makes metals costlier for buyers outside the United States.

Copper futures for December delivery fell $0.0295 to settle at $3.0640 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 0.74% at $6,748 a ton.
