Copper futures trade higher on Monday
Sep-09-2024
Copper futures traded higher on Monday as investors are awaiting trade data from the world's top metals consumer China. However, some gains were limited by firm dollar as weaker-than-expected US jobs data fuelled fears about a possible recession in the world's largest economy.

Copper futures for December delivery lost by $0.0110 or 0.27% at $4.0845 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
