Sep-16-2020

Gold futures finished tad higher on Tuesday registering biggest settlement in two weeks, in midst of uncertainties over the Federal Reserve’s outlook on the economy when policymakers meet this week. However, stronger dollar and stock markets with upbeat US factory data and Chinese economic data boosted risk sentiments capping gains in the bullion.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 2.50, or 0.1%, to settle at $1,966.20 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. However, spot gold was down 0.2% to $1,952.15 per ounce.
