Copper futures settle lower on Thursday
Jan-14-2022

Copper futures settled lower on Thursday despite the US dollar weakened sharply, which makes dollar-priced metals cheaper to holders of other currencies. However, worries about insufficient supply of copper, capped further losses.

Copper futures for March delivery fell $0.0305 to settle at $4.5460 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was down 1.05 percent at $9,958.50 a ton.
