Oct-23-2020

With less than five days left for Bihar to enter the first phase of Assembly elections 2020, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi launched his election campaign for Bihar assembly elections. He was addressing his first rally to launch the electoral campaign for the State Assembly Elections at Dehri-on-Sone in Sasaram today.

Modi has said that the voters of Bihar have taken a resolve that they won't let those who have a history of making the state 'Bimaru' come near them. He exhorted people to vote for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to speed up the ongoing development works in the state. Nitish Kumar-led NDA Government in the state is essential for prosperity of the people of the state and the NDA is committed to empowering Bihar, he added.

PM will be holding rally in Bhagalpur later. In an effort to reach out to maximum possible people amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the BJP is telecasting Mr Modi’s rallies digitally in Bihar. Meanwhile, today is the last day for withdrawal of candidature for the third and final phase of assembly elections. 78 assembly seats spread over 15 districts will go to polls in this phase on the 3rd of November.
