Prestige Estates declines on logging 43% fall in sales in Q2FY25

Prestige Estates Projects is currently trading at Rs. 1748.35, down by 45.55 points or 2.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 1793.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1750.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1774.75 and Rs. 1730.55 respectively. So far 22165 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2072.75 on 24-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 712.00 on 23-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1909.00 and Rs. 1730.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 75332.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.25% and 3.26% respectively.

Prestige Estates Projects has recorded 43.28% fall in sales to Rs 4022.60 crore during Q2FY25 (as against Rs 7092.60 crore during Q2FY24). For H1FY25, the sales sum up to Rs 7052.20 crore (as against Rs 11007.30 crore during H1FY24). 1,366 units were sold during Q2FY25, bringing the total units sold during H1FY25 to 2,730.

The total Sales Volume during the quarter was 3 million square feet (as against 6.84 million square feet during Q2FY24). Sales Volume during the H1FY25 totalled 5.87 million square feet (compared to 10.67 million square feet during H1FY25). 

The Sales Collections for the quarter stood at Rs 2737.30 crore, up by 4 % year-on-year (Y-o-Y). During the first half of the year, the Sales Collections totalled to Rs 5653.40 crore, up by 5% YoY.

The Average Realization during Q2FY25 was Rs 13,782 per sft for Apartments, Villas and Commercial spaces, up by 33 % YoY. During H1FY25, the same was Rs 13,010 per square feet, up 26% YoY.

Prestige Estates Projects is engaged in the business of real estate development. The company’s principal products/services include Development and construction of Properties, Leasing of commercial properties and Share of profit /loss from partnership firm.
