Asian Paints surges on launching Chromacosm

Asian Paints is currently trading at Rs. 2335.00, up by 41.90 points or 1.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 2293.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2289.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2337.20 and Rs. 2272.75 respectively. So far 57665 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3394.00 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2256.90 on 30-Dec-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2362.70 and Rs. 2257.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 224001.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.44% and 18.93% respectively.

Asian Paints has launched Chromacosm - the world’s largest architectural colour system. Featuring over 5,300 unique shades, it is set to revolutionise the way architects, designers and industry professionals engage with colour. To celebrate the launch of Chromacosm, the company has collaborated with renowned architect and artist Suchi Reddy, founder of the New York-based Reddymade studio. 

Together with Asian Paints, Suchi Reddy has conceptualized and created an art installation that encapsulates Suchi Reddy interpretation of Chromacosm - an artistic exploration of the infinite universe of colour.
