HUDCO surges on getting nod to raise upto Rs 750 crore via NCDs

Housing & Urban Development Corporation is currently trading at Rs 246.20, up by 4.30 points or 1.78% from its previous closing of Rs 241.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 242.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs 248.15 and Rs 239.25 respectively. So far 597565 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 353.95 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 158.90 on 03-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 253.80 and Rs 239.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 49336.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.15% and 12.85% respectively.

Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has received approval for the raising of Debentures as Unsecured, Taxable, Redeemable, Non-Convertible, Non-Cumulative NCDs of face value of Rs 1,00,000 each (Series-C 2025) aggregating upto Rs 750 crore on Private Placement basis. The 'Bond Allotment Committee' in their meeting held on June 6, 2025, has approved the same. 

HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
