Nestle India moves up on adding new maggi noodles production line at Sanand Factory

Nestle India is currently trading at Rs. 2392.00, up by 3.75 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 2388.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2399.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2409.20 and Rs. 2391.10 respectively. So far 15074 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2777.00 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2115.00 on 05-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2475.00 and Rs. 2380.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 230978.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.76%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 21.31% and 15.92% respectively.

Nestle India has added new maggi noodles production line at the Sanand Factory, Gujarat. With this, the proposed capacity addition will be around 20,300 tons per annum. Currently, the Sanand plant has capacity of around 1,00,700 tonnes per annum and is operating at around 77% utilisation. The investment required for the capacity addition will be around Rs 105 crore and it will be added in Financial Year 2025-26.

This is part of the company’s planned capital expenditure in greenfield and brownfield projects between 2020-2025, to increase overall capacities to meet the future demand.
