Kamat Hotels (India) trades higher on signing second luxury hotel at Rishikesh

Kamat Hotels (India) is currently trading at Rs. 239.45, up by 2.80 points or 1.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 236.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 236.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 241.00 and Rs. 234.55 respectively. So far 4369 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 353.40 on 18-Mar-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 176.00 on 25-Oct-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 241.00 and Rs. 227.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 709.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.43% and 37.78% respectively.

Kamat Hotels (India) has signed an agreement for the management and operations of a second luxury hotel in Rishikesh under the brand ‘The Orchid Hotel’ at Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.  The Hotel will feature around 44 elegantly designed rooms with facilities such as banquet hall, swimming pool, fully equipped conference room along with exquisite 24 hours all day dining restaurant. The hotel is expected to be fully operational by December 2026.
