L&T jumps as its Heavy Civil Infrastructure business secures order from NPCIL

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 3650.00, up by 64.65 points or 1.80% from its previous closing of Rs. 3585.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3607.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3675.00 and Rs. 3596.20 respectively. So far 62468 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3963.00 on 10-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2967.65 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3675.00 and Rs. 3532.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 503006.44 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 63.05% and 36.95% stake in the company respectively.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Heavy Civil Infrastructure (HCI) business vertical has secured a significant order from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) for 2X1000 Mwe Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP - 5 & 6) in Tamil Nadu. 

The scope encompasses the mechanical package for the project, including installation of the nuclear reactor and turbine systems (with generator and condenser), sea water systems, polar and trestle cranes, and other related equipment. It also includes accessories, piping, supports, structural steelwork, painting, anti-corrosion coating, insulation and full testing across various buildings and structures on site.
