Adani Power zooms after incorporating joint venture along with Druk Green Power Corp.

Adani Power is currently trading at Rs 165.85, up by 8.55 points or 5.44% from its previous closing of Rs 157.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 157.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 168.00 and Rs. 156.80 respectively. So far 12597165 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 182.75 on 23-Sep-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs 86.17 on 21-Nov-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 168.0 and Rs 147.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 319836.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.22% and 10.81% respectively.

Adani Power and Druk Green Power Corp. (Bhutan’s state-owned utility) have incorporated a joint venture company (JVC) (with 49:51 shareholding respectively) titled ‘Wangchhu Hydroelectric Power’ for setting up a 570 MW hydroelectric project at Wangchhu in Bhutan. The object of incorporating the JVC inter alia is to carry on the business of generation, accumulation, distribution and supply of and to generally deal in electricity.

Earlier, the company and Druk Green Power Corp. have signed shareholders agreement for the same.

Adani Power is engaged in the business of generation, accumulation, distribution and supply of power and to generally deal in electricity and to explore, develop, generate, accumulate, supply and distribute or to deal in other forms of energy from any source whatsoever.
