Vardhman Textiles declines on reporting 5% drop in Q2 consolidated net profit

Vardhman Textiles is currently trading at Rs. 428.85, down by 8.85 points or 2.02% from its previous closing of Rs. 437.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 429.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 431.75 and Rs. 418.60 respectively. So far 88489 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52-week high of Rs. 563.65 on 16 Dec 2024 and a 52-week low of Rs. 362.60 on 04 Mar 2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 453.90 and Rs. 399.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12452.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.21%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.19% and 13.61% respectively.

Vardhman Textiles has reported 13.77% decline in its net profit at Rs 189.39 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2025 as compared to Rs 219.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 3.77% at Rs 2,468.13 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 2,564.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 4.98% decline in its net profit at Rs 187.03 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 196.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 2.60% at Rs 2,516.88 crore for Q2FY26 as compared to Rs 2,583.99 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
