Key gauges add gains in morning deals
Dec-04-2025

Indian equity benchmarks added gains in morning deals, amid value buying at lower levels. Investors are now turning their attention to the RBIs monetary policy decision scheduled for tomorrow. Traders took support with Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal stating that the country's exports, which fell by about 12 per cent in October, have registered healthy growth in November 2025. He said ‘merchandise exports are also on a strong wicket. Merchandise exports went down in October. Incidentally, November has gone up by a greater amount than what went down in October. If I aggregate October and November, there is growth in merchandise exports despite the global turmoil.’ Sector-wise, Telecom stocks remained in watch as Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in its latest report said that the gross revenue of the telecom service providers (TSPs) increased by 9.19% to a record high of Rs 99,828 crore in the September quarter of 2025-26 (Q2FY26) as compared to Rs 91,426 crore in the same period a year ago.
