Antony Waste Handling Cell’s arm bags two contracts from BMC

Antony Waste Handling Cell’s material subsidiary -- AG Enviro Infra Projects has secured two collection & transportation (C&T) contracts from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The contracts have been awarded to a consortium/Joint Venture comprising AG Enviro Infra Projects, M/s. Jigar Transport Company and M/s. M. K. Enterprises. The AG Enviro Infra Projects holds 51% stake in the Joint Venture. Under these contracts, the Joint Venture will manage the collection and transportation of around 1,250 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) of municipal solid waste across key Mumbai wards.

The Joint Venture has secured first contract worth around Rs 684 crore for collection & transportation of around 650 MTPD solid waste from A, B, C & D Wards of Mumbai City to landfill site by providing owned new vehicles for a period of 7 Years. Additionally, the Joint Venture has secured second contract worth around Rs 646 crore for collection & transportation of around 600 MTPD solid waste from N, S, and T Wards of Mumbai City to landfill site by providing owned new vehicles for a period of 7 Years.
