Precision Camshafts zooms on commissioning 14 MWp captive solar power plant in Solapur

Precision Camshafts is currently trading at Rs. 157.00, up by 7.65 points or 5.12% from its previous closing of Rs. 149.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 150.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 157.10 and Rs. 149.60 respectively. So far 10574 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 380.00 on 06-Jan-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.50 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 164.35 and Rs. 146.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1482.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.20% and 34.43% respectively.

Precision Camshafts has commenced operations of 14 MWp Captive Solar Power Plant installed at Mangalwedha, Solapur. This commissioning is in continuation of, and forms part of, the expansion of the company’s existing 15 MWp captive solar power facility at the same location. With this commissioning the aggregate installed capacity has increased to 29 MWp.

The commissioning of this solar power plant is expected to reduce the company’s electricity cost for production activities, support green energy generation, and contribute to lowering the company’s overall carbon footprint.
