Brahmaputra Infrastructure emerges as L1 bidder for Rs 25.78 crore project

Brahmaputra Infrastructure has been declared the L-1 (lowest bidder) for a Rs 25.78 crore (Around $3.1 million) short-term road maintenance contract awarded by the National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL), an undertaking of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. The contract covers maintenance of selected stretches between Km 0.00 and Km 65.00 of the Pailapool-Hangrum section in the State of Assam, with an execution period of 12 months from the formal Letter of Award.

The Pailapool–Hangrum corridor is a key arterial road link in the Barak Valley region of southern Assam, connecting onward to Manipur and Mizoram. Maintenance of this stretch is critical for sustained vehicular movement, regional commerce, and last-mile connectivity in the North-East. 

The contract adds incrementally to Brahmaputra Infrastructure's existing order book and contributes to FY 2026-27 revenue visibility. The company has executed and is currently executing multiple road, bridge, and maintenance contracts across Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, and Manipur for clients including NHIDCL, NHAI, MoRTH, state PWDs, and Indian Railways.

Brahmaputra Infrastructure has established itself as service provider of builder’s developers. The company also in the business segment of real estate division, heavy civil construction division.
