Ashok Leyland raises Rs 300 crore through NCDs

Ashok Leyland has raised Rs 300 crore through allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The Fund Raising Committee of the Board of Directors has on August 10, 2026, allotted 30,000 unsecured, listed, rated, redeemable, non-cumulative, NCDs having face value of Rs 1,00,000 each. 

The NCDs will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange of India. The NCDs carry a coupon rate of 7.50% per annum and have a tenure of 2 years. The NCDs are rated ‘AA+’ by ICRA with Stable outlook.

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
