Markets extend losses in late trade
Sep-15-2026

Indian equity markets extended losses in late afternoon session as rising bond yields and spike in India’s retail inflation in the month of August, sparked expectation of interest rate hike by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The Brent crude oil prices surged past the $107 a barrel mark after Iran-aligned Houthis launched a new wave of attacks on Saudi Arebia.
