Bharat Coking Coal gets nod to rationalise basic prices of certain grades of Raw Coking Coal
Oct-14-2026

Bharat Coking Coal has received approval for rationalisation of Basic Prices of certain grades of Raw Coking Coal for Non-Regulated Sector. With a view to correct disproportionate inter-grade price differentials, the revision covers Steel Grades (I and II), Direct Feed, PCC Washery Grades (W-II to W-VI) and HVMC Washery Grades (W-I to W-VI) for Non-Regulated Sector only. The basic prices of different grades have been increased by around 0.1% to 14% over the existing prices. The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on October 13, 2026, approved the same.

Bharat Coking Coal is engaged in producing various grades of coking coal, non-coking coal and washed coals for applications primarily in the steel and power industries. The company, a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Coal India (A Government of India Undertaking).
