Bihar Assembly poll: CPI-M announces candidates in its quota of 4 seats

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) has announced the names of candidates for four assembly constituencies that the party was given under the seat-sharing arrangement of the Grand Alliance in Bihar.

The CPI-M will be contesting Bibhutipur, Matihani, Pipra and Majhi seats. ‘Ajay Kumar to contest from Bibhutipur constituency, Rajendra Prasad Singh from Matihani, Rajmangal Prasad from Pipra and Satendra Yadav from Majhi Assembly constituency’. According to the seat-sharing formula of the Grand Alliance, the RJD will contest 144 seats followed by the Congress which would fight 70, CPI(ML) 19, CPI 6 and the CPI(M) 4 Seats.

Bihar will go to the polls on October 28, November 3 and 7 for the 243 member assembly.
